CENER will be exhibiting at the INTERSOLAR 2011 Conference and Exhibition which will be held in Munich from 8th to 10th of June 2011. INTERSOLAR 2011 Conference & Exhibition is the leading annual solar conference and exhibition in the world, last year featuring over 70.000 attendees and 1.800 exhibitors.
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (CENER) is the Spanish’s primary laboratory for renewable energy and research and development (R&D). CENER has a cutting-edge technological infrastructure, with the most modern laboratories and facilities worldwide. The mission of the solar energy research conducted at CENER’s solar laboratory is to perform test and collaborate with industry to further solar technology and to accelerate its commercialization in the marketplace. The solar energy research capabilities include our own Solar Collector Laboratory accredited by ENAC (Spanish National Accreditation Entity) to test EN 12975, EN 12976, ISO 9806, Solar Keymark and SRCC, and the Photovoltaic testing laboratory which is also CBTL accredited by IEC for PV modules testing under IEC61215, IEC61646, IEC61730 and IEC62108 standards that are ahead of the curve.
The center’s experienced staff, unique research capabilities as the solar resource measurement and evaluation, feasibility studies, technical due diligences, modelling and energy production analysis of solar power plants, provide industry partners and stakeholders with technical support from the laboratory to the marketplace. The CENER’s research has contributed to many solar industry success projects and the development of commercially successful utility-scale solar power plants. CENER consolidates its international presence in Europe, North Africa, Latin America and USA by participating on this event.
